My artistic journey is deeply rooted in themes of isolation and alienation, stemming not only from my personal experiences as an immigrant from Japan to the United States but also from a sense of omnipresent loneliness even when I was in my home country. Through my creative pursuits, my ultimate aim is to foster mutual understanding and connection with others, transcending cultural and personal barriers.

Drawing inspiration from Japanese cinema, video games, anime, and manga, I found solace in fictional characters who echoed my own feelings of isolation. Their stories and music provided a voice for my unnamed emotions, offering a sense of validation and empathy. It was through these mediums that I discovered a shared experience with others who had undergone similar struggles.

In my musical compositions, I prioritize the songwriting process to create melodies and harmonies that resonate with a diverse audience. By blending elements of classical and jazz/modern music, I seek to convey complex emotions and untold narratives through my music. Each note and chord is carefully selected to evoke a sense of connection and understanding, inviting listeners to explore their own innermost feelings.

As my artistic journey evolved, I found a profound connection to stage performances, where the raw energy of live theater allows for a direct dialogue with the audience's innermost selves. In this space, language and music intertwine to reach into the depths of human emotion, transcending spoken words to touch upon shared experiences that may have otherwise remained unspoken.
